Nutrition can be confusing for both you and your clients.

Clarity is gained when knowledge is solidified.

Your current nutrition knowledge may be resting on unsteady foundations. You know protein is important, but you don’t know what amino acids are, how protein quality is gauged, or why timing it might be important. You know digestion is important, but your understanding of what is digested and where is lacking. You know that calories matter, but you don’t know who should track and who shouldn’t, or where to get a client started.

It’s time to solidify those foundations.

We believe that coaches who are certified by Triage are hungry for knowledge. You want to know both WHY and HOW; Theory & Application; Science & Pragmatism. That is what we endeavour to provide in this course.

If you want to stop guessing when providing nutrition advice to clients, this is for you. If you want to be the coach that can answer clients’ questions confidently and competently, this is for you. If you want to be a respected coach that is worthy of high-quality clients, this is for you.

What does the course cover?

The content covered in this course intends to provide you with the theoretical and practical knowledge to coach your clients toward better performance, body composition, and health. To achieve this, we cover the following primary topics:

1. Digestion, Assimilation, and Metabolism

2. Energetics & Nutrition: Understanding Calories

3. Dietary Protein: Biochemistry & Practical Considerations

4. Dietary Carbohydrate: Biochemistry & Practical Considerations

5. Dietary Fat: Biochemistry & Practical Considerations

6. Dietary Fibre: Biochemistry & Practical Considerations

7. Fluid Intake & Hydration

8. Alcohol: Biochemistry, Toxicity, Performance & Health

9. Food Selection: Practical Food Choices

10. Tiered Nutrition Coaching

11. Client Intake & Assessment

12. Planning & Coaching Nutrition Clients

Each of these subjects is further subdivided into multiple lessons, delving deep into the science that is necessary, and then zooming out to focus on what really matters for you and your clients. This is not a science degree that will overwhelm you with unnecessary depth. It is also not just surface-level soundbites like “it’s just calories that matter”. We zoom in and out as necessary.

Along with the content provided, you will receive supplementary support and guidance from course tutors. This is essential during your education. You need to ask questions, and you need to have them answered by those who have gone above and beyond in their pursuit of knowledge before you. That is what we are here for. That is what we stand for.

By the end of the course, you will be able to call yourself a Certified Nutritionist and you will be able to count yourself among some of the most well-positioned individuals to impact people’s health. You will have the skills required to coach someone towards better nutrition and lifestyle practices.

Are you ready to be the coach who knows how, why, and gets results?
