TriageMethod Ltd., (“Triage Method”) knows that you care how information about you is used and shared, and we appreciate your trust that we will do so carefully and sensibly. This Privacy Policy covers the information practices of our user interfaces, including our website TriageMethod.com.

By visiting TriageMethod.com or our other user interfaces, you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy operates in conjunction with our Terms of Service which together constitute the entire agreement between you and Triage Method. Privacy Shield

Triage Method complies with the EU-US and US-Swiss Privacy Shield Frameworks as set forth by the US Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information from European Union member countries and Switzerland. Triage Method adheres to the Privacy Shield Principles of Notice, Choice, Accountability for Onward Transfer, Security, Data Integrity and Purpose Limitation, Access, and Recourse, Enforcement and Liability. If there is any conflict between the policies in this privacy policy and the Privacy Shield Principles, the Privacy Shield Principles shall govern. Triage Method will inform an individual of the purpose for which it collects and uses information and the types of non-agent third parties to which Triage Method discloses or may disclose the information.

Information We Collect

If you choose to use the Services, we may require you to provide contact and identity information, billing information, and other personal information as indicated on our user interfaces, including on TriageMethod.com. Once you register on TriageMethod.com, you are no longer anonymous to us.

We collect and store the following information:

Information you give us, including, contact information, such as your name, company name, address, phone number, email address, and similar contact data;

Access credentials such as passwords, password hints, and similar security information unused for authentication and account access.

Automatic information, such as computer sign-on data, browser type, browser language, statistics on page views, traffic to and from our user interfaces and ad data. Like many websites, we use identifiers such as “cookies” and Web beacons to obtain this automatic information.

Location data, which may be precise or imprecise. Precise location data may be Global Position System (GPS) data and/or data identifying nearby cell towers and Wi-Fi hotspots. Discussion board posts and other messages, including your correspondence with us. Our communications will include notices about your account (for example, change in password or payment method, confirmation e-mails and other transactional information) and information concerning or related to our service. These communications are part of your relationship with Triage Method and you receive them as part of the Triage Method membership. If you or your store’s customers do not want to receive our emailed newsletters, other promotional announcements or non-transactional communications, simply use your account name and password to access the control panel on TriageMethod.com and disable any email notifications sent to you or your customers. 

Our Use of Your Information

We use your personal information to:

– provide and improve our the Services;

– resolve disputes, calculate and collect fees, and troubleshoot problems;

– verify users’ identity and the information users provide;

– encourage a safe online experience and enforce our policies;

– customise users’ experience, analyse site usage, improve and measure interest in the Services, and inform users about other services and updates;

– communicate administrative announcements when we need to provide users with information that may affect their use of the Services;

– communicate marketing and promotional offers and events to our users;

provide customer service; and

– perform other business activities as described when we collect the information.

As part of your registration on our website to use the Services, our website, you agree that you may receive certain administrative communications from us, such as administrative announcements and customer service messages regarding Services and products during the period that we provide Services to you. You may not opt out of receiving such administrative communications.

Triage Method’s user interfaces use credit card/debit card/PayPal information solely to check the financial qualifications of prospective customers and to collect payment for the Services.

Our website also uses automatic information obtained through cookies and Web beacons to operate and improve. We may also use automatic information alone or in combination with personal information about our customers to provide personalised information about TriageMethod.com

Triage Method contracts with third-party advertising networks who collect IP addresses and other identifiers on our websites and emails and on third-party websites. Ad networks follow your online activities over time by collecting information through automated means, including through the use of cookies. They use this information to provide advertisements about third-party products and services tailored to your interests. You may see these advertisements on other websites. This process also helps us manage and track the effectiveness of our marketing efforts. TriageMethod, however, does not grant third parties access to any personal information.

Information We Share

We share your personal information with your consent or as necessary to provide the Services. In addition, we share personal information with vendors or agents to provide the Services. For example, companies we’ve hired to provide customer service support may need access to personal information in order to provide those functions. In such cases, these companies must abide by our Privacy Policy and security requirements and are not allowed to use personal information they receive from us for any other purpose. In cases of onward transfer to third parties of data of EU or Swiss individuals received pursuant to EU-US or US-Swiss Privacy Shield, Triage Method is potentially liable. We may also disclose personal data as part of a corporate transaction such as a merger or sale of assets. We will access, transfer, disclose, and preserve personal information, when we have a good faith belief that doing so is necessary to:

  1. comply with applicable law or respond to valid legal process, including from law enforcement or other government agencies;
  2. protect our customers;
  3. operate and maintain the security of our Services, including to prevent or stop an attack on our computer systems or networks; or
  4. protect the rights and interest of Triage Method.

Finally, Triage Method also may be required to disclose an individual’s personal information in response to a lawful request by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.

Do Not Track

Triage Method does not support Do Not Track technology.

Opting out

Triage Method does not use personal information for marketing its services, either through email or direct mailing. Triage Method may send some non-marketing communications that are not subject to general opt-outs, such as information that you request we send to you or to third parties with whom you do business, and disclosures to comply with legal requirements and other informational notices.

Our newsletter is used as a general means of communication and may include updates to the Services as well as new partner agreements. You have the option to unsubscribe to our newsletter at any time. If we intend to use your information for a purpose that is not compatible with these purposes or if we intend to disclose it to a type of third party not previously identified, we will notify you and offer you the opportunity to opt out of such uses and/or disclosures.

Triage Method will offer individuals the opportunity to choose (opt out) whether their information is to be disclosed to a third party or to be used for a purpose other than the purpose for which it was originally collected or subsequently authorised by the individual should the occasion arise.

Our Use of Cookies and Other Identifiers

We use identifiers such as cookies, Web beacons and IP addresses to make interactions with users easy and meaningful.

Cookies

When you visit TriageMethod.com, Triage Method’s servers send a cookie to your computer. Standing alone, cookies do not identify you. They merely recognise your Web browser. Unless you choose to identify yourself to TriageMethod, either by responding to a promotional offer, opening an account, or filling out a Web form, you remain anonymous to Triage Method.

We use cookies that are session-based and persistent-based. Session cookies exist only during one session. They disappear from your computer when you close your browser software or turn off your computer. Persistent cookies remain on your computer after you close your browser or turn off your computer.

We occasionally engage third parties to track and analyse usage and volume statistical information from users of Triage Method’s user interfaces, including our website, TriageMethod.com. TriageMethod.com may include community forums, blogs, or chat rooms. Triage Method posts a list of users and testimonials on our user interfaces, including on our website, TriageMethod.com that contain information such as user names and titles. We obtain the consent of each user prior to posting any information on such a list or posting testimonials.

Accessing, Reviewing and Changing Your Personal Information

If you are registered to receive the Services, you have the right to access, review and modify your personal information at any time by logging into your Profile page located at https://TriageMethod.com. If you cannot access personal information collected by Triage Method by the foregoing link or through the Triage Method services, you may contact Triage Method at info@TriageMethod.com and Triage Method will respond to requests to access or edit your personal information within thirty (30) days.

We may delete personal information when we no longer need it for the purposes we described earlier. We may retain personal information as permitted by law to resolve disputes, enforce our policies, and prevent the recurrence of fraud or other illegal or improper activity.

Security

To prevent unauthorised access, promote data security, and encourage appropriate use of information, we use a variety of tools, such as encryption technologies, passwords, physical and electronic security, or procedural safeguards to assist in the protection of your information. Enforcement

In compliance with the EU-US and US-Swiss Privacy Shield Principles, Triage Method commits to resolve complaints about your privacy and our collection or use of your personal information. The European Union and Swiss individuals with inquiries or complaints regarding this privacy policy should first contact Triage Method at info@TriageMethod.com.

Triage Method has further committed to refer unresolved privacy complaints under the EU-US and US-Swiss Privacy Shield Principles to the BBB EU PRIVACY SHIELD, a non-profit alternative dispute resolution provider located in the United States and operated by the Council of Better Business Bureaus. We may amend this Privacy Policy at any time by posting the amended terms on TriageMethod.com. In the event of amendment, all terms shall take effect thirty (30) days after initial posting to TriageMethod.com. Your continued use of any of the Services will constitute your acceptance of any changes or additions to this Privacy Policy.

Arbitration under this agreement shall be conducted under the rules then prevailing of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitrator’s award shall be binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.
